Description
This is a 2-hours themed class focusing on hips and hamstrings. This class focuses on hips and hamstring movements which can increase flexibility and improve the range of motion in those areas. Suitable for all levels.
Begin with a complete warm-up of the shoulders, upper back and hips. The class will introduce hip stretching poses like lizard pose with variations, pigeon pose; and hamstring stretching poses like seated forward fold with one hand pulling one leg up. Progressively in more challenging pose such as compass pose or eight angle pose which also requires arm strength.
After the practice, you will open your hip and hamstring through a sequence of movements. You will learn how to prepare yourself into more challenging poses slowly.
