Description
This hatha-based sequence contains a progressive flow of balancing poses, with a focus on movements combined with breathing. Suitable for regular practitioners.
Begin with a warm-up of the shoulders, spine, and hips. Flow into standing balancing poses, such as the tree pose, one-legged chair pose, and warrior III pose for stability to the ankles, strength to the calf muscles, and overall improvements to leg balance. Progressively move into some core and back strengthening poses, and more challenging poses like the crow, side crow, and wheel to build arm strength while balancing.
You will be encouraged throughout the practice to discover more of your body and mind. You will feel a balance of energy flow.
