Description
This session features a progressive yoga sequence from low to high intensity, designed to improve the mobility and stability of the shoulders and upper body. Blocks, straps, and walls are useful tools in this practice. Suitable for all levels.
The class focuses on breathing into the movements. Repetitive movements are emphasised to slowly ease the tension. There are dynamic shoulder stretches, chest openings, and spine lengthening poses, followed by various strengthening poses. This help opens up the shoulders and chest and increases breathing capacity.
This practice will help you move on to more challenging and advanced poses involving backwards bending, twisting, and inversion movements.
