Description
This is an Andiappan yoga series, that focuses on back bending. Backbends help bring our body and mind back to balance by improving mobility while strengthening the supporting muscles along the spine. With correct alignment, backbends help to improve posture and relieve tension and pain. You will also feel energised after the practice as backbends are invigorating postures, they increase blood circulation and stimulate the nervous system.
In this session, Master Mahesh will guide you through shoulders, upper back and quadriceps warm-ups before going into mermaid pose, king pigeon pose, bridge pose, wheel pose and variations.
Slowly understand and observe your body. Practise safely to gain the maximum benefits of back bending.
