Description
This yoga balance sequence features variations of lateral bending, twisting, forward bending and backward bending poses. It focuses on breath-combined movements, including exhaling into the poses and holding in stillness. Suitable for regular practitioners.
Begin with a gentle warm-up, followed by standing balancing poses such as the tree pose with lateral bending; and the half moon and warrior III pose, which help strengthen the calf muscles and improve overall leg balance. Flow into some seated balancing poses, which help improve concentration.
During this class, you will explore your own limitations and discover your way to balance.
