Description
In this session, Master Yogananth and Master Mahesh will guide you through a sequence of movements to strengthen the entire core, abdomen, obliques, back muscles and thighs. Core muscles include every muscle groups that improve the mobility and stability of joints.
In core yoga practice, movements are not isolated, instead, comprehensive and multi-focused. The core can be trained up in different ways: poses can be intensified by repeating or holding it for longer, creating both isotonic and isometric effects, to increase deeper muscle strength and coordination.
The class begins with several breath combined movements to activate the intrinsic core muscle and pelvic floor muscles. Followed by shoulder and back muscles strengthening. You will then challenge yourself with pendant pose, boat pose and locust pose.
Keep an open mind, keep breathing and avoid locking the joints throughout the practice.
