Description
In this session, Master Dilip and Master Edith will guide you through a well-rounded sequence to stretch and strengthen the hips and hamstrings. Keeping the hips and hamstrings healthy is important as they are one of the most important groups of muscles in the body, responsible for mobility and stability of the lower body. They can help prevent knee and lower back issues.
The class begins with warm-ups on all the joints, then movements for hip mobility. You will stretch the hips in different directions with postures like butterfly pose, middle splits, pigeon pose and strengthening poses against gravity, such as bridge pose, and gate pose. Modifications are given according to your body limitation.
