Description
This Andiappan yoga twist routine will take you through various rotational movements to stretch and strengthen the muscles around the spine, increasing the range of motion; as well as improving digestion by massaging the digestive organs.
Master Kammy will take you through a sequence of twist-oriented yoga poses such as standing and seated twists, and low-lunge twists to increase the range of motion in your lower back, upper back, hips, and shoulders. In addition to the benefits of twisting, you will also have a chance to stretch your hamstrings, quads, and hip flexors. Learn to lengthen the torso with every inhalation and relax slightly deeper into the twist on each exhalation. Modifications are given to get into and maintain a pose with yoga blocks.
