Description
This is a back care yoga class focused on releasing neck and back tension, and improving shoulder mobility. Neck and shoulder pain is usually the result of bad postures. Carrying heavy bags and spending hours hunched over computers can lead to tightness in the neck and shoulder, and irritate the nerves in your neck, eventually headaches and pain. Regular stretching and strengthening exercises can ease the pain.
This class begins with breath combined movements to increase blood circulation and warm up the body joints. Master Yogananth will guide you through a sequence of postures and breathing techniques to release neck and upper back tension, as well as improve shoulder mobility. You will also make use of props like straps to open the chest and shoulder, and blocks to deepen the lunges for stretching the hips and legs.
