Description
This session explains the importance of prana in yoga therapy. You will learn how to increase blood circulation and practice postures for hips and hamstrings recovery.
Breathing helps in oxygenation. Begin with Kapalbhati and Bhastrika to stimulate blood circulation. Followed by Pawanmuktasana including dynamic shoulder stretch, neck stretch, lateral stretch, hip, knee and ankle rotations as warm-ups to release excessive wind in the body. Move into rehabilitative postures to stretch the hamstrings and calves first, then the hip region. Strengthening poses are introduced as they are crucial in preventing injuries. End with guided meditation and relaxation.
