Description
This 45-minute pranayama class introduces students to various breathing exercises that purifies the body and calms the mind. Regular practice leads oneself to a meditative state and develops a positive mindset. Suitable for all levels.
Begin with gentle warm-ups for the whole body. You will practice some twisting and lengthening poses that maintain spinal health.
Followed by breathing exercise with different ratios of inhalation and exhalation, then you will practise with breath-holding and energy point locking. Various breathing techniques are then introduced such as alternate nostril breathing, kapalbhati, sheetali and sheetkari.
After the practice, you will experience deep relaxation, peace and vitality.
