Description
Tensions can be built physically and mentally from our everyday activities and poor postures. This class features a yoga therapy sequence that focuses on the neck, shoulders and upper back. Aim to relieve discomfort, reduce inflammation, improve mobility, and build strength.
Begin with gentle neck rotation and lateral stretches. You will make use of a towel to do some neck strengthening exercises. Continue with shoulder rotation and a breathing technique called Shunda Kriya to increase shoulders mobility. You will also practise on how to activate your upper back muscles in a prone position.
After the session, you will learn some useful therapeutic techniques to keep your upper body healthy. You will also feel relaxed after the practice.
