Description
Yin Yoga is a passive practice of holding poses for 3 to 5 minutes, accessing deeper layers of fascia and stretching connective tissue around the joints. Suitable for all levels. You are recommended to prepare yoga blocks and strap for the practice.
The class focuses on releasing tension in the shoulders and upper body. Beginning with simple relaxation, neck and shoulder stretches and cat and cow twist. Moving into deeper shoulders stretch and chest opening poses such as heart pose and supported fish pose with blocks. Closing the practice with gentle lateral stretch and calming breaths.
You will feel a good flow of circulation and energy throughout your body. You will feel lighter and happier after the practice as the heart chakra is stimulated.
